We are excited to announce some important updates to the Sri Lankan Day 2025 schedule based on your feedback and venue capacity considerations.
Schedule Updates
Extended Performance Times
Due to overwhelming demand, we have extended the main stage performance times:
- Traditional Dance Showcase: Now runs from 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM (extended by 30 minutes)
- Cultural Music Concert: Extended to 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM (extended by 30 minutes)
- Folk Art Demonstrations: Additional sessions added at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM
New Workshop Sessions
We have added several new workshop sessions based on popular requests:
- Traditional Cooking Workshop: Saturday 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Drum Making Workshop: Sunday 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Traditional Weaving Workshop: Saturday 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Language Learning Session: Sunday 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Venue Changes
To accommodate the increased attendance, we have made the following venue adjustments:
- Main Stage: Moved to the larger Central Pavilion
- Food Festival: Expanded to include the East Lawn area
- Children's Activities: Relocated to the Family Zone (more space and better facilities)
Registration Updates
Due to these changes, we are extending the early bird registration deadline to December 15th, 2024. All registered participants will receive updated schedules via email.
